In the Realm of the Future, yet-to-be-born children long to embark on their journey to Earth and begin life’s great adventure. All alone in her corner, only Pïa is afraid of what lies ahead.

At a heavenly council, Giuseppe, the Old Angel, gets a dressing-down. It seems like his latest mission was another flop! The Angel of Destiny gives him one last chance: stop grouching and accompany children to Earth as their Guardian Angel or face banishment.

Unfortunately for the Old Angel, his new task is to watch over Pïa, the solitary soul who absolutely refuses to leave Heaven for Earth!

This dreamlike show blends humour and the Christmas spirit to captivate audiences of all ages. The Old Angel and the Little Child take us on an enlightening journey through a multitude of equestrian tableaux, each set in a unique world.

This new Christmas equestrian show, conceived and directed by Virginie Bienaimé, reminds us of the simple (and not so simple) pleasures of life, with each scene brought to life by the stunning costumes of Monika Mucha. Led by Sophie Bienaimé, the equestrian and artistic director of the Grandes Écuries, the riders of the Compagnie équestre du Château de Chantilly and their horses, donkeys and ponies will share the stage with equestrian acrobats, actors, a singer and a trapeze artist.

This enchanting Christmas equestrian tale is guaranteed to capture the imagination of audiences, young and old.
