Our Partners
A vast action plan is underway since 2006 to safeguard, restore and enhance this unique site (château, grounds, great stables), and to develop new facilities, services and activities on the estate.
Supported until 2020 by the Foundation for the safeguarding, restoration and enhancement of the Domaine de Chantilly, chaired by Aga Khan, then by the Domaine de Chantilly – Fondation d’Aumale, this action program is also part of the framework a public-private partnership in which the State is associated, through the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the Hauts-de-France Region and the Oise Department.
Our main partners
The Picardie Cultural Affairs Department is contributing 800,000 € per year. It participated in the restoration of the Hamlet, the Main Le Nôtre Axis, the English Garden at Sylvie’s House, the Jeu de Paume and the Cour des Remises in the Great Stables.
The Hauts-de-France region is contributing 250,000 € per year. It contributed to the financing of the restoration of the Main Le Nôtre Axis, the riverbanks in the Hamlet, the Cour des Remises in the Great Stables, the English Garden and the Jeu de Paume. The region also contributed financially to the digitisation of the estate’s collections.
The Oise department is contributing 250,000 € per year. It contributed to the financing of the restoration of the Main Le Nôtre Axis, the English Garden and the Jeu de Paume. It will also finance restoration work on the main entrance gates and the area surrounding them.

The municipality of Chantilly: With a strong history and cultural heritage, the town of Chantilly was awarded the “town of Arts and History” label by the Ministry of Culture in 2007.

Oise Tourism: Ambassador of the exceptional cultural and natural heritage of the Oise!
The Hauts-de-France regional tourism committee: In a desire to make Hauts-de-France region a major tourist destination, the regional tourism committee helps to unite the various players and inhabitants around the treasures of the region.
The Château of Écouen – National Renaissance Museum: Built from 1538 by the Constable of France, Anne de Montmorency, the Castle of Écouen is one of the masterpieces of the French Renaissance. It belonged to the princes of Condé.
The Château of Compiègne: This royal residence built by Louis XV, was mainly inhabited by Napoleon I and Napoleon III. The Château de Compiègne now houses the National Car and Tourism Museum, famous for its collection of animal-drawn vehicles and automobiles, from its origins to the First World War.
The Château de Pierrefonds: On the edge of the Compiègne forest, this fortified castle is characteristic of medieval architecture. It is very popular for film shoots (“The Visitors” by Jean-Marie Poiré, “Joan of Arc” by Luc Besson).
The Pavillon de Manse: on the banks of the Nonette river and a prairie, the Pavillon de Manse-Moulin des Princes is a focal point of Chantilly as a town of Arts and History. Behind this décor: the techniques, science and exceptional machinery that was at the heart of this classified building which has been defying time for over 300 years. An opportunity to discover an exceptional hydraulic and industrial historic site!
The Princes’ Vegetable Garden: The Princes’ vegetable garden offers a very pretty walk in a park that has been classified in the Remarkable Parks of France registry. Admirers of beauty will discover a symphony of gardens and a magnificent vegetable garden.
Henson Chantilly-Apremont Equestrian Center: Exclusive horseback ride in magical places: the grounds of the Château de Chantilly and the grounds of the Polo-Club.
The Asterix Park: Theme park dedicated to the world of Goscinny and Uderzo’s famous comics, it will delight young and old adventurers!
Sherwood Park: Unique place to discover with family or friends for days of outdoor adventure.
La Mer de Sable: This theme park located in the heart of the Ermenonville forest is the oldest in operation in France. It gives you an immersive experience in the heart of the Wild West through its 3 distinctive universes (Mississippi, Colorado and Arizona) and its 3 major equestrian shows.
The Abbey of Chaalis: This estate, rich in nine centuries of history, owned by the Institut de France, is made up of a chapel, its “Jacquemart-André” museum, its park, and its rose garden classified as “Remarkable Garden”.
Royaumont Abbey: This former Cistercian monastery built almost 800 years ago is a unique place, which offers visitors many facets and activities.

Friends of the Condé Museum: Since 1971, the Friends of the Condé Museum are essential partners of the Château de Chantilly. Is contributing 150,000 € per year on average. They participate in the restoration of collections and interior decorations, as well as in acquisitions.
Friends of the Domaine de Chantilly: Friends of the Domaine de Chantilly (FODC) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster awareness and raise philanthropic support for the Domaine de Chantilly. It engages an international community of benefactors who are committed to preserving this spectacular estate and world-class art collection. Throught their generosity, FODC supports a variety of initiatives such as exhibitions, publications, gallery renovations, and artwork conservation. It also offers its donors and members exceptional opportunities to experience Chantilly’s captivating history and renowned collections and to exchange with acclaimed specialists. Examples of events include private tours of exhibitions, exclusive viewings of works not shown to the public, special lectures and panel discussions, festive receptions in private residences, and an annual Gala dinner.
