The Château de Chantilly voted as France’s Favorite Monument of 2025

Thanks to strong regional support in the first round, the Château de Chantilly emerged victorious, advancing to the final and earning its place among the 14 monuments selected across France.

On Wednesday, September 17, during the France 3 program Le Monument Préféré des Français, host Stéphane Bern announced the Château de Chantilly as the winner of this year’s competition. The château triumphed over 13 other iconic landmarks, succeeding the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, which held the title in 2024.

The Château de Chantilly, property of the Institut de France, is proud to have been named the Monument Préféré des Français during the program aired on France 3 and hosted by Stéphane Bern.

A symbol of the dedication and hard work of the château’s teams, this title caps off a remarkable year in the history of the estate and marks a new milestone in the Château de Chantilly’s national and cultural prominence. More than just an award, it is a true collective recognition, celebrating the history, culture, and commitment that bring this unique place to life.

The château warmly thanks all its valued partners—including the Oise Departmental Council, the Chantilly-Senlis Tourist Office, the Oise-Tourisme agency, the City of Chantilly, the Hauts-de-France Regional Tourist Board, the Hauts-de-France Region, neighboring municipalities, and many others—whose support was instrumental in promoting its candidacy.
